108 Years Since the Assyrian Genocide

This genocide is now considered an honour and a joy for all of Turkey, Kurds and Arabs. The Assyrian genocide took place between 1915 and 1921 in the same context and manner as the genocide against the Greeks and Armenians.

WE DON’T FORGET our ancestors who were slaughtered, exiled and disappeared by the bloodthirsty Ottoman Mustafa Kemal in alliance with the Kurdish Çetes. WE DON’T FORGET these facts! They carried out religious ethnic cleansing of the Assyrian indigenous peoples to take over our land.

The Assyrians are the indigenous peoples in Mesopotamia. The number of Assyrians murdered in this genocide committed against the Assyrians by the Ottoman state and in alliance with the Kurds along with other armed and allied Muslim peoples including Arabs between 1915 and 1921 is estimated at 750,000 Assyrians.

This genocide is today considered an honour and joy for all of Turkey, Kurds and Arabs. The genocide of the Assyrians was carried out between 1915 and 1921 in the same context and manner as the genocide against the Greeks and Armenians. Historically, the common enemy of the Greeks and Assyrians is the Turks, Kurds and other Muslim peoples.

They tried to exterminate the Assyrians by all means and methods! Thousands of massacres were carried out against us. They tried to take away our name, our identity and our culture. But we will never give up and the land of Assyria will return to us and we will embrace its holy land.

They do not know that we are like a grain of mustard seed, they cannot crush us because Christ is with us. The name of Ashur will remain and the flag of Assyria will always be raised.

We are here despite the occupation.

This is where the world began and this is where it will end.
